Why Russian Women?

I too have read other websites’ introduction to women from Russia (or China, Vietnam etc etc). To some extent they are helpful, but they also worry me as they often seek to ‘sell’ imaginary virtues (eg submissiveness).
I got into this by accident when was alone in the house at New Year (my wife had died) I had had a few drinks and I felt horribly lonely (I guess some sort of beginning like this is common) and it was about 1.00am.
I went to Excite personals and found a Russian personal in the Glasgow section and caught on to the fact that there were maybe a lot of Russian women who wanted to leave Russia. I am very middle aged (57) and the thought of a somewhat younger wife (prettier than me anyway) was pleasantly stimluating.
It is hard to 'fall' for a photograph. Women are attractive for the way they move and laugh and of course the way they are. The fact remains there are some stunningly attractive pictures on the net. A couple of faces have just haunted me.
I have been to Russia (in 1990, USSR days) and even learned some Russian, enough to ask where I am and in one case hold a fascinating conversation with the hotel cleaning ladies for about an hour and a half (it was hard work but we managed).
I find Russian women amazing. They often have ways of saying things that I haven’t thought of and I wish I had.
I let my soul out in tiny little bits that only a few people notice. The Russians often take theirs right out, shake it round like a hockey stick and then bang it on the table. I once had a Russian woman almost seduce me because she wanted me to employ her husband in Glasgow. Would she have gone all the way? I don't know, I had to explain that there were legal reasons why I could not help, but I found her level of devotion both moving and deeply unsettling. I will never forget it.
They are extraordinary. They are not always a people I feel easy with, but they are so often wonderful and very different from me. I think it is this difference that has made me go for Slavic women. I have looked at other personals, but I feel safer with the Russians. I feel I know what I may be letting myself in for.
You can not ignore the Russians. I feel I have unfinished business there.
And the answer to your question - a trivial summary? For me the Russians represent offer beauty, age and passion in that order.
